HOLGER HAYBACH

AT KLINGELNBERG SINCE 1981

TECHNOLOGY AND PRECISION

“The technology and precision of our products impressed me from a very early stage, and I’m happy to be part of a winning team.” Holger Haybach.

It’s been a remarkable career at Klingelnberg for Holger Haybach, currently product manager and head of the order center for the “Precision Measuring Centers” business unit.

Following his training as a machinery fitter (industrial mechanic today), he got his start in 1985 as a mechanic in the metalworking shop. Early on in his career, Holger Haybach began taking on additional projects in job engineering.  Just two years later, Haybach moved to the “Precision Measuring Centers” product line, where he remains firmly rooted still today.

Haybach furthered his education while continuing to work, studying part-time in Remscheid to become a mechanical engineering technician from 1986 to 1990 and earning a degree in technical business administration in Cologne from 1991 to 1993. While his work primarily consisted of testing application software in the beginning, over the years Haybach became a skilled consultant and contact for presentations and customer training.

Following numerous external assignments as a customer technician, he joined the in-house service staff, where he was able to apply the breadth of his knowledge and experience to the benefit of the company. By 2001, he had successfully completed the entire QA Auditor training program at TÜV Rheinland and in the years that followed, he acted as head of Quality Management for the “Precision Measuring Centers” product line alongside his primary role. Before taking over as manager of the in-house technical staff in 2015, Haybach had already served eight years as assistant manager of the Service department. He has served in his current role as product manager and head of the “Precision Measuring Centers” order center since 2016 and with over 40 years of service, he is considered a true veteran of the company.

Holger Haybach is well aware of Klingelnberg’s long-standing tradition as a family business. But he isn’t the only one. The second generation of the Haybach family has already successfully completed training at the Hückeswagen site. And that comes as no surprise.
